Who will win 4th Match, Prediction, Preview

If you take a good look at the IPL tournament’s ranking you will find out that the Kings XI Punjab team is not at all in a good place. Having finished at the last position of the points table for consecutive two years, one can easily understand the team’s reluctance and concern as they face the Rising Pune Supergiants who have just bagged their first win this IPL season.  The KXIP team will be having a young Glen Maxwell as the captain and the Holkar Cricket Stadium as their new home ground.

Punjab just needs a good formula for a good start whereas the Supergiants have already got their momentum with the bat as well as with the ball after their win against MI. But the game itself is pretty tricky. The game leaves everyone on the same level when it starts. Wining or loosing can only be decided when the match really gets the start.

Former Indian batsmen and director (cricket operations) of KXIP Virender Sehwag said that he wants his team to play aggressive this time. Sehwag has also confirmed the association of Ishant Sharma (who was not bought by any of the teams) in his team in place of Murali Vijay who is out injured. Sehwag says that IPL isn’t a game for batsmen only as most of the times the match was won by the bowlers, so they have picked Ishant Sharma who is well experienced with his bowling.

Sehwag also added that they have good batsmen like Martin Guptill, Glenn Maxwell, Eoin Morgan, Darren Sammy and David Miller who can win the match single-handedly.

Whereas the Supergiants’ former captain Steve Smith who has been penalised for his misconduct in the previous match says that they are quite happy with their team’s performance both in bowling and batting areas.

Toss Prediction

The Holkar Cricket Stadium will be hosting its first IPL game in six years since last hosting two games back in 2011. Both of those games were won by the side batting second and so the team that wins the toss in this match may want to bowl first. KXIP, in their last five matches in the previous edition, won the toss four times and so we predict them to win the toss here on Saturday.
