Launch Of Virtually Lost By Shreyan Laha

Newsnownation in collaboration with GRIFFIN Publication releases ‘Virtually Lost’ a Science Fiction on the platform of Newsnownation Portal. The book is written by author Shreyan Laha, a Science Fiction Writer.

Shreyan Laha is a science fiction author who has three books in his name, ‘Not Worth Living For’, ‘A Tiny Reason to Live’, and the critically acclaimed novel, ‘A Year Without Summer’. Along with this, Shreyan also has half a dozen published short stories and loves writing acrostic poems. Shreyan has been the winner of Rajiv Gandhi Youth Literary Award, 2014.

The Chief Guests of the event were Shiju J Palitazeth, founder Director of World’s most active Writing Forum Motivational Strips and a beat selling author himself, and Dr Ratan Bhattacharjee, eminent columnist, author and Academician, Professor of Foreign universities.

The event began with a welcoming note forwarded by the Founder Director of Newsnownation Gaurav Virendra Agarwal. The show was hosted by the Director of GRIFFIN publication Mousumi K Sachdeva.

Virtually Lost is a story of what would happen if social media came to exist outside of its virtual state. Manisha, a professor in Psychology, finds certain oddities with people whom she interacts with in this hill station. She realises that the place is governed like a social media and its citizens are treated as real-life-profiles. Everyone remains under constant surveillance.
