Lotus Make-up India Fashion week, 33rd edition, 2019, in association with Liva is ongoing at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. A five days fashion week is focusing on fashion and promoting young talent as well as young designers.. It also helps to promote Indian’s culture & tradition with different countries.

The day began with the Green Heart Fashion Show where designers Rina Dhaka, Samant Chauhan, Namrata Joshipura, Shalini James and Sahil Kocchar showcased their collections of fluid garments using Liva eco. The collections shattered the myth around sustainable clothing in terms of textures, silhouettes and patterns. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), told us that we believe sustainable fashion and conscious consumption is the need of the hour.

The first day began with the Green Heart Fashion show where designers like Samant Chauhan, Rina Dhaka, Namrata Joshipura, Shalini James and Sahil Kocchar showcased their collections of fluid garments using Liva eco.

The collection broke the myth around sustainable clothing in terms of textures, silhouettes and patterns. The second day saw no less than five tinseltown actors, adding glamour to LMIFWAW19. There was Karisma Kapoor walking in a Mekhela Chador for Sanjukta Dutta. Shikha Talsania espoused the cause of plus-sized fashion for designer Prerna Adsul’s Inspiration The Curve line. Karishma Tanna wore a Gauri and Kunal outfit and Rakulpreet Singh was in an outfit ensemble by Julie Shah.

The third day of India Fashion Week saw Ruchi Roongta and Rashi Agarwal’s introduce quilts instead of dupattas, Charu Parashar’s interpretation of Calico textile Completing the c
Circle of Life by Shivani Jain uses feminine silhouettes, creating gowns and separates with intricate detailing using extensive embroidery techniques. Jain has used fabric like tulles, organza, velvet and neoprene which are rich and falls beautifully on all body forms. The collection has been inspired by the quote ‘Circle of life’ where one feels that everything in life comes to a full circle and completes each human being with amazing experiences.

While the opening show ‘Liva Eco Green Heart Show’ will have designers Sahil Kochhar, Shalini James, Dhaka and Chauhan showcase a sustainable collection made with eco-friendly fabric LivaEco, the gala’s grand finale will be about myriad interpretations of the evergreen six-yard wonder.

The sari, its multiplicity and its personality will be celebrated by designers Akaaro, Amit Aggarwal, Anamika Khanna, Anavila, Anita Dongre, Gaurav Gupta, Pankaj & Nidhi, Raw Mango, Rimzim Dadu, Rohit Bal, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Tarun Tahiliani, Urvashi Kaur and Wendell Rodricks among many others.

The FDCI Designer Stockroom will be held on March 17 and 18, where the designers directly introduce to the customers to sell their creations. This Mega Event is praised by many top fashion Diva’s around the world.
